2007 Season In Review |
Well, it’s hard to believe we have concluded our 35th season here at the Ritz Playhouse. Our audiences
saw and heard some outstanding talent this season. We reached up and out and brought “Urinetown, the
Musical” to our stage, and the cast fell together like no other. I think we all felt we could have done that
show all summer and would never have tired of it. But we pushed on and continued to entertain our loyal
patrons with a full season of great shows, and special events.
Special thanks to Ekaterina and Louis Pereyra for all their time and talents. Our new website, www.
ritzplayhouse.com is up and running because of their skills and dedication to our all volunteer endeavor.
We also want to thank Louis for his photographic skills. He is a true artist. We have never looked so good,
either on stage or off.
Also, Special Thanks to Jim Shook and entire Shook and IGA family for another unbelievable fund raising
event this year. The second annual "Scramble For The Ritz” golf outing, along with a donation from the
Community Dock Foundation, raised over $4000.00 for us. Jim Shook has truly shown his community
leadership in this area. We also want to thank the generous sponsors who made this donation possible.
We can’t begin to thank Jim and
his family and all the folks at the
IGA enough. We are truly
"Hometown Proud” of all of them.
On behalf of all the Ritz board members, and actors, THANK YOU for continuing to support our efforts. We
